Producer Tiina Klemettilä said spring has arrived. She added the programme will feature songs nearly everyone knows — from childhood tunes to classic summer hits.
Event manager Saara Saarteinen urged residents to arrive by 18:15 to help open the city's summer season and create a relaxed Tampere atmosphere for viewers across Finland.
The singalong nods to the Tammerkosken sillalla television tradition that ran from 1995 to 2008; Alatalo helped present it in its early years.
