Ilta Headlines Tampere Weekend at G Livelab, Alatalo Closes with Singalongs at Vanha Monttu

Local paper Tamperelainen recommends five gigs this weekend, Sept. 25–26, led by Ilta at G Livelab on Friday and Mikko Alatalo at Vanha Monttu on Saturday.

Friday's tips include a lively bill at TTT-Klubi, where Pauli Hanhiniemi and Ville Rauhala's Melko Akustinen Duo share the stage with Kolmas Nainen, Perunateatteri and Hehkumo. Hanhiniemi's guitar and Rauhala's double bass set a warm, story-driven tone. Ilta, boosted by this year's Jokaisen hymyn takana album, centres its G Livelab show on themes of friendship. They will take pre-show song requests.

Friday night also sees Lemonator mark three decades with a rock set at Tavara-asema, supported by The Sugarrush. Saturday features Marko Annala as Alter Annala at Olympia, performing material from Alert!. The album takes a grittier, rock-leaning approach to earlier rap-inflected sounds, with multi-instrumentalist Aake Lämsä and drummer Leo Heikkilä in the band. The weekend closes with Mikko Alatalo at Vanha Monttu as part of the Hasardihommia anniversary tour, promising singalongs and well-known classics.
