Luckiefun-Linked Sushi on Hämeenkatu Closes After Owner Files for Bankruptcy

A sushi restaurant on Hämeenkatu in Tampere operated by the Luckiefun franchise has closed after its owner filed for bankruptcy on 8 September.
Sole owner Liang Binbin submitted the petition for DDl Sushi Oy to the Pirkanmaa District Court, but the court let it lapse on 18 September after requested supplemental documents were not submitted. Company records show liabilities of about €120,000 and assets near €20,000. In the 2025 financial year DDl Sushi reported €512,000 in turnover, a €27,000 loss and five employees.
Luckiefun operates as a franchise with 26 outlets in 15 Finnish cities and runs sushi counters inside shops; the chain's website lists a Koskikeskus location in Tampere. Aamulehti was unable to reach Liang Binbin for comment.
The closure follows other recent restaurant difficulties in the region, including a Tax Administration bankruptcy petition against Olympia Restaurants and the temporary closure of Piemonte in Tampere.
