Manse PP Match Tickets Now Double as Nysse Travel Passes in Tampere
Manse PP says match and season tickets will double as Nysse travel passes on match days in Tampere, valid from three hours before kick-off until five hours after the scheduled start.
According to ePressi, Manse PP says its match and season tickets will also function as valid Nysse travel tickets on match days in Tampere. The travel entitlement runs from three hours before kick‑off until five hours after the scheduled start.
"Because the match ticket also works as a Nysse ticket, no one needs to arrange separate travel, just bring the ticket and hop on," said Janne Korhonen, CEO of Manse PP. The club says the change is intended to make it easier for spectators to attend home games.
The benefit covers Nysse buses, trams and certain VR trains within the Nysse area, including journeys between Nokia, Lempäälä, Orivesi, Tesoma and Tampere stations.
"We want to make getting to games as easy and smooth as possible with Nysse's good connections. It's great to have Manse PP join the event-ticket cooperation," said Riikka Salkonen, customer manager at Nysse. The entitlement covers the Nysse area (Tampere, Kangasala, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Vesilahti and Ylöjärvi) and Valkeakoski buses that use the Nysse ticketing system.
Manse PP plays its home matches at the Kauppi baseball stadium (Kuntokatu 5, Tampere), within walking distance of several stops, including Ensitie bus stops on Arvo Ylpö Street (lines 13 and 14), the TAYS tram stop (line 1) and Koljontie bus stops (line 11). Supporters travelling from further away can use park-and-ride areas such as Hiedanranta, Niihama and Turtola and continue by Nysse services.
Match-day travel rights must be validated for every trip by showing the ticket's barcode or QR code to the ticket validator. They are only valid on the day of the match, within the three-hour-before to five-hour-after window.
