Minor fined 200 euros for Tampere Sulkavuori plant trespass
A minor has been fined 200 euros for trespassing at Tampere's Sulkavuori central wastewater plant in spring 2024, according to Aamulehti.
Pirkanmaa district court convicted the youngster of a public order offense after they entered the fenced site with others in May and June 2024 during two separate visits, despite signs banning unauthorized access. Inside the construction area, the group filmed photos and videos and posted the material on Instagram, Discord, TikTok and YouTube.
The minor admitted in the pre-trial investigation to visiting the facility one weekend and two to three times in total and sharing the material; they did not attend the district court hearing. The verdict was issued on February 3 and can be appealed.
