Moose Put Down After Early-Morning Crash in Sastamala

A moose was put down after colliding with a car on Pirkanmaantie near the Hautaantie intersection in Sastamala early Monday morning. The vehicle carried only its driver. Emergency medical personnel checked the driver at the scene. The animal was euthanized at the accident site, and the car was damaged enough to be towed.
