Nominations Open for Pirkanmaa’s Employer of the Year
Nominations are open for Pirkanmaa’s Employer of the Year, with workplaces of any size eligible to enter. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday 30 September.
Tammerkosken Junior Chamber has opened nominations for Pirkanmaa’s Employer of the Year, inviting workplaces of any size and sector across the region to apply. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday 30 September. Anyone can nominate.
First held in 1983, the contest aims to spark discussion about good employer practices and to spotlight leading workplaces in the region.
Judges assess how companies care for and develop staff and employee motivation. They also consider workplace wellbeing and culture, business figures and the employer’s role in local employment and the economy.
A jury screens the nominations and selects finalists. Finalists take part in interviews and staff surveys before a winner is chosen. The victor will be announced in January.
The competition follows other recent regional recognition of workplaces, most recently Tampereen Kulttuurikamari’s win as Pirkanmaa’s Company of the Year. The call was reported by Tamperelainen.
