Pedestrian Killed on Epilänkatu in Tampere, Driver Suspected of Negligence
A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car on Epilänkatu in Tampere on Sunday afternoon. Police suspect the driver of causing death by negligence.
Police said the collision occurred around 1:30 PM. The victim, an adult, was pronounced dead at the scene. A doctor helicopter was deployed to Epilä and a police car remained there into the afternoon. Officers are conducting on-site investigations to determine how the crash happened.
