Pirha opens paid teen summer internships across Pirkanmaa
YLE reports that Pirha opens nearly 200 paid summer internships for 15–17-year-olds across Pirkanmaa for June–July with two- or four-week placements and lottery-based selections; applications via Kuntarekry are due by March 15.
The internships offer a low-threshold introduction to social, health and rescue services and help youths gain their first work experience. The placements last two weeks or four weeks, paying 420 or 840 euros respectively, Pirha notes. Applicants must be at least 15 by early June and under 18 by the end of the internship, with hospital placements requiring 17 years of age. Opportunities are available in Akaassa, Hämeenkyrössä, Ikaalisissa, Kangasalla, Kuhmoisissa, Lempäälässä, Nokialla, Orivedellä, Pirkkalassa, Punkalaitumella, Pälkäneellä, Sastamalassa, Tampereella, Valkeakoskella, Vesilahdella and Ylöjärvellä.
