Pirkanmaa Export Day 2026 to focus on China counter-sanctions and Southeast Asia markets

Pirkanmaa Export Day 2026 will take place at Tampere’s Tavara-asema on 11 November, gathering companies and experts to examine international trade trends and to network with service providers. Tamperelainen says the event follows other Tampere-hosted industry gatherings and initiatives that have promoted export and logistics ties in the region, such as the September 2026 Tampere fairs and projects mapping market pathways for Tampere SMEs to the Greater Bay Area Leap4Growth.

The one-day programme covers Western and Chinese counter-sanctions, market opportunities in Southeast Asia, export finance, credit risk management and the future of free maritime traffic. There will be sessions on improving export logistics, adapting to shifting tariff and free-trade rules, and on using contracts as a competitive advantage.

Speakers include representatives from the Tampere Chamber of Commerce, Business Tampere, OP Corporate Bank, Atradius Oy, Dachser Finland, PwC, law firm Merkurius and Hetitec. Public support services from Team Finland, Finnvera, Business Finland and the Central Finland Centre for Economic Growth will be on hand. The event aims to give export-focused companies practical insight and networking opportunities with peers and public agencies.
