Tampere residents can vote online until 15 October 2026 for their favourite among six projects nominated for the city's Good Building Award 2026.

Six projects are competing for Tampere's 2026 Good Building Award, ranging from the renovated Hervanta Church to Ruusupuisto daycare, a former psychiatric hospital converted into a daycare centre. Voting is open online until 15 October 2026.

The award, given annually by a subcommittee of the city's environment and building committee, recognises high-quality architecture and construction in Tampere. Criteria for the prize include architectural quality, site planning and successful cooperation between authorities and project teams. Project presentations and the voting form are available at tampere.fi/hyvan-rakentamisen-palkinto. The award winner and the public favourite will be announced at the Pirkanmaan Rakentajat PIRA event on 3 November 2026.
