Voting Closes Wednesday in Tight Race for Visit Tampere Award

Tamperelainen reports that voting for the Visit Tampere Award closes Wednesday, October 21, with a tight race among Pirkanmaa travel destinations. Visit Tampere and Tamperelainen are running the public vote to name which Pirkanmaa attraction has offered the best service this year; more than 500 readers have already taken part. The current top 10, listed alphabetically, includes Arboretum Hatanpää, the Finlayson area, Hiedanranta, Laukko Manor in Vesilahti, Vapriikki Museum Centre, Serlachius Museum Mätä in Vilppula, Suttisen tila in Pälkäne, Tallipiha, Tampere Market Hall and Vehoniemi Automotive Museum in Kangasala. The public winner will receive the audience prize for the Visit Tampere Award. The main award, decided annually by Visit Tampere's board since 2018, will be presented at the Visit Festival in Nekala Lab on Tuesday, November 24. Previous public winners include the Pyynikki observation tower in 2023 and 2025 and Tallipiha in 2024. Organizers are awarding two 50-euro gift cards by lottery to participating voters.
