Saarihelvetti on Viikinsaari expands August lineup with ten new acts
The Saarihelvetti festival on Viikinsaari has added ten new acts to its August lineup for August 14–15. The additions include Spectral Wound and Finnish heavyweights Havukruunu, Kalmah, Rytmihäiriö, Wolfheart, Marianas Rest, Hexvessel, The Man-Eating Tree, Kneel Before The Death and Ashen Tomb.
The Saarihelvetti festival on Viikinsaari has expanded its August lineup by ten new acts for August 14–15. New additions include Canadian group Spectral Wound and Finnish heavyweights Havukruunu, Kalmah, Rytmihäiriö, Wolfheart, Marianas Rest, Hexvessel, The Man-Eating Tree, Kneel Before The Death and Ashen Tomb. The heavy music gathering, held on Viikinsaari, has now announced ten more names to its main program for this summer. The festival, which has been staged since 2015, already revealed several acts earlier, such as Turmion Kätilöt, Gutalax, Kataklysm, Borknagar, Omnium Gatherum and Whispered. Promoter Rowan Rafferty says the event will lean more on domestic acts while spicing the lineup with strong international bands, and he promises an open-minded and bold heavy-music experience for fans. The organizers will disclose the sideshow-stage lineup before summer and publish the day-by-day schedule as well.
