Sani Brännfors to Take On UFC Veteran Justine Kish at Ice Cage 7 in Tampere

Sani Brännfors will meet UFC veteran Justine Kish at Ice Cage 7 in late May at Nokia Arena in Tampere, Aamulehti reports. The bout will pit the 21-year-old Finnish prospect against a seasoned opponent on home turf.

Kish was born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in 1988 and was adopted to the United States at age five. She fought in the UFC from 2016 to 2021 before moving to Bellator.

Brännfors says the matchup suits him despite Kish’s greater experience — this will be only his third professional fight. He beat Argentina’s Sofia Land on points at Ice Cage 6, but told fans on Instagram he wasn’t fully satisfied and wants to make a clear statement that will stick in people’s minds.
