Suuri Manserock returns to the renovated Tullikamari concert hall in Tampere on 27 February. Tamperelainen reported the event will feature five bands, with veteran singer-songwriter Mikko Alatalo appearing twice.
Alatalo leads the Alatalo Brothers Band, which features his children alongside long-time professional musicians. He also performs with Coitus Int 50 Revival, which will play original Coitus Int material including songs translated as "Heinola Roars", "Breathe, Sister" and "Odysseus".
The lineup also includes Nolo&Rähjä, a first-wave Manserock act formed in Aitolahti in 1970. They are working on a new album and have released seven full-length records. Their early shows once featured Eppu Normaali and Popeda as opening acts, and Juice Leskinen produced their second album.
Alwari Tuohitorvi Revisited brings renewed 1970s hits, with former drummer Seppo Tammilehto now fronting the band. Sidi & Hermottomat, originally active from 1979 to 1983 and revived in 2009, are back on stage after roughly a decade away.
