Take part in Nyssen’s public transport travel survey
Nyssen is opening a public transport travel survey in March 2026 to gather input for planning a sustainable public transport network for the Tampere region, aiming for implementation in August 2028.
Nyssen announced that it is launching a public travel survey to gather starting information for developing public transport in the Tampere region toward future needs, including population growth, new mobility options and changing everyday life. The goal is to build a clear, functional and sustainable public transport network, planned to be implemented in August 2028.
Nyssen says the survey is intended to help planners better understand which areas trips focus on and what kinds of improvements people want to see in public transport. The results are described as an important part of the planning work, with each response supporting the creation of more workable connections across the region.
The survey includes multiple-choice questions as well as a task where respondents mark information on a map. It is easiest to complete on a computer, but it also works well on a mobile phone. Nyssen adds that the information marked on the map is not used to identify individuals.
The survey will be open from 16 to 31 March 2026, and Nyssen notes that the link is available on its website.
