The aim is to gather baseline travel data, understand where trips concentrate, and identify improvements the transport network should deliver, ensuring future mobility fits changing routines and growth.
The questionnaire combines multiple-choice questions with a map-marking task, and respondents can complete it on a computer or a smartphone. The map data are not used to identify individuals, and the survey takes about 10 minutes to finish. Nyssen notes that these responses will inform planning and help build clearer, more effective connections across the Tampere region.
The release emphasizes that every viewpoint contributes to creating a more sustainable, customer-friendly public transport system. The link to the survey is published on Nyssen's website and will be active during the open period from 16 to 31 March 2026.
