Tampere launches five-minute survey on heatwaves, storms and floods
Tampere is asking residents to complete a five-minute survey about experiences of heatwaves, storms and flooding to inform local preparedness and community coping.
The City of Tampere says a short questionnaire asks residents about direct experiences of climate-related risks such as heatwaves or flooding and seeks views on measures to strengthen local preparedness and community coping. Responses are anonymous and confidential. It takes about five minutes to complete, and the questionnaire is available in Finnish and English.
The AURORA project, funded by the EU Horizon Europe programme, develops tools to anticipate and prepare for the health impacts of climate change. Tampere is one of the project's pilot cities, where new approaches and practical solutions will be tested to support a sustainable, safe and healthy urban environment.
The questionnaire follows the city's recent online survey on cultural services and forms part of Tampere's ongoing efforts to gather resident feedback.
