Tampere to host Independence Day lunch for veterans, widows and Lotta Svärd at Peurankallio
The City of Tampere will host a commemorative Independence Day lunch for war veterans at Peurankallio on Wednesday 2 December 2026.
According to the City of Tampere, a commemorative Independence Day lunch for war veterans will take place at Peurankallio in Tampere on Wednesday 2 December 2026.
The event runs from 11:30 to 14:30. It welcomes veterans from Tampere, veterans’ widows, members of Lotta Svärd and Little Lottas, and participants may bring a companion.
A festive lunch and coffee will be served. Registration is open until Wednesday 11 November 2026. To sign up, contact Jenni Leijo, organisation coordinator at TampereMissio, by phone at 040 749 9694.
