According to the City of Tampere, a free evening for people approaching or recently entering retirement will be held at Tampere City Hall, Aleksis Kiven Street 14–16 C. Entry is free. No advance registration is required.

The programme includes talks by local speakers Anne Flinkkilä and Rauno "Rane" Korpi, followed by a musical performance from Juha Junttu. The first 200 attendees will be offered a mocktail and light savoury refreshments.

Information stands from the city and partner organisations will cover practical topics: managing finances after retirement, debt counselling, preparing a power of attorney or a will, and free courses and lectures available this autumn.

Visitors can try a short Revive Your Nerves exercise session aimed at easing neck, shoulder and hand discomfort, pick up wellbeing tips and learn about cultural and volunteer activities.

Representatives will include the Pirkanmaa Legal Aid Office of the Finnish Legal Services Authority, the Enforcement Authority, the Tampere for All Development Programme, the Council for Older People of Tampere, Sustainable Housing and Construction, and the Pirkanmaa Wellbeing Services County. City Hall staff will assist with accessibility needs, and the event follows the city's Safer Space Principles.
