Tampere to Publish Joint Education Application Results on June 11

Applicants in Tampere will be informed of the joint application results for post-compulsory education no earlier than Thursday 11 June 2026. City of Tampere says it has published an FAQ to help applicants and that official results will be delivered through the national Opintopolku service.

Guidance counsellors at each primary school will be available to help on 11 June, 12 June and 15 June 2026, and will resume regular counselling from 6 August; school principals can be contacted about applications until 18 June. Opintopolku sends the national results letter to the email address given in the application (a results letter goes to every applicant), and institutions follow up with their own electronic or paper acceptance letters containing enrolment instructions. Guardians can view dependants' results on the Valpas service, which requires strong authentication. Young people covered by the extended compulsory education (changed in 2021) continue their education free until they turn 18 or complete a secondary vocational qualification or matriculation examination, and those who do not receive a place can apply via continuous intake under a guidance counsellor's direction.
