Tree felling and demolition to alter traffic on Viinikanpolku in late August and September

Tree felling to clear space for a demolition on Viinikanpolku begins Monday 24 August 2026. Demolition starts on 1 September 2026 and is expected to last about three to four weeks, the City of Tampere says.

They take place ahead of the main demolition. Temporary traffic arrangements on Viinikanpolku will run through August and September to accommodate the works. Residents and drivers should follow local signage and check the city's updates for detailed timing and any route changes.
