A vacuum tanker truck overturned into a ditch on Vehkajärventie near the Karjatanhuan junction in Kangasala. The sole driver managed to leave the vehicle unassisted, Tamperelainen reported. The truck was an industrial vacuum tanker. The transport tank was empty when the accident occurred. Emergency medical services checked the driver at the scene and transported him to a local health centre for further evaluation. The crash follows a separate incident earlier this week when a tanker truck rolled onto its side in Nokia on the Porintie–Koukkujärventie ramp.
