The Valopolku trail returns to the Tohloppi lakeside in Tampere from 9 to 18 October, open each evening from 18:00 to 22:00.
Organised by Valotapahtuma ry with partner groups, the volunteer-run event presents family-friendly works themed "roots". The programme includes Alterables, an interactive performance by artists from the Pirkanmaa Dance Centre. It will be staged eight times across four nights: 9–10 and 16–17 October, with performances at 18:30 and 20:00.
Adult admission is €5; under-18s enter free. Organisers say part of the ticket income will be donated to the Nature Heritage Foundation.
The roughly 600-metre route is a forest path and not barrier-free. The trail is located at the Rasonhaa heritage forest by Lake Tohloppi, Ransunraitti 1.
