6 October Meeting to Shape Kauppi–Niihama Nature Reserve

A public meeting to discuss establishing a Kauppi–Niihama nature reserve will take place on 6 October at Museum Centre Vapriikki, Alaverstaanraitti 5. The event runs from 16:30 to 19:00. Coffee will be served from 16:30 and expert presentations begin at 17:00.

The meeting follows the city's 2026 nature conservation programme, which proposes protecting roughly 400 hectares in the Kauppi–Niihama area.
