Call for designs for Tampere's 2026 Christmas postmark

Moro and the Postal Museum are seeking designs for Tampere's 2026 Christmas postmark, with submissions due by 9:00 on 28 October.

Both professional graphic designers and hobbyists may enter. The prize is a small package of Museum Centre Vapriikki tickets and a Vapriikki museum shop gift card. A jury that includes representatives from Moro and the Postal Museum will pick the winner. The chosen auxiliary postmark will be applied to Christmas mail at Museum Centre Vapriikki and used at the Central Square Christmas market on selected dates in late November and early December.

Designs must fit a 35 mm x 35 mm square; any shape is allowed. Text and images may be included, but avoid tiny text under 2 mm and lines or narrow gaps thinner than 0.4 mm. Vector submissions should be saved as a PDF at the final size. Hand-drawn designs should be made up to five times larger and scanned as a two-colour image with solid fills.

The 2025 postmark winner was graphic designer Pertti Ollikka, whose design featured the Tammerkoski landscape. The call was reported by Aamulehti.
