Designtori brings over 50 Finnish designers and makers to the main stage of Tampereen Työväen Teatteri on Sunday 27 September, 11:00–17:00; the three-floor market also offers guided backstage tours for the theatre's 125th anniversary.
Shoppers can find Finnish fashion, homewares and accessories at the Designtori market on Tampereen Työväen Teatteri's main stage on Sunday 27 September, from 11:00 to 17:00, Tamperelainen reports.
The market spans three floors. More than 50 companies will offer clothing, homewares and accessories.
Guided backstage tours will celebrate the theatre's 125th anniversary and reveal the venue's history, the main stage's technical and artistic solutions, and the workings of the set workshop and costume department.
Noora Honkanen, Designtori's producer, said in a press release that the collaboration brings two local cultural players together. It aims to offer an experiential Sunday for design lovers, theatre fans and curious city residents.
Earlier this year, the market filled the theatre's foyer in May when it returned for a spring edition.
