Equipment Failure Sparks Anger at Atala Juice Station

A pasteurizer at the Hämeen‑Pirkanmaa Martat's juice station in Atala, Tampere, broke last week, cancelling some bookings and forcing other visitors to wait between half an hour and an hour, local broadcaster YLE reported.
Maria Järvelin, the association's director, said staff had to ask a few customers to step outside after they began shouting "the operation is terrible and the Martat are too." She appealed for patience, noting some seasonal workers were young and in their first jobs.
Most visitors accepted it. Technicians cleared a blocked coil after three days, repaired the pasteurizer and both machines are now back in operation.
The incident follows an earlier report that a failed pasteurizer had halved the station's output. It comes after the Martat opened the Atala pressing station in September to meet rising demand when the new facility launched.
