Framery cuts UK delivery times to five days after opening Bourne hub
Framery has cut UK delivery times to five days after opening a distribution centre in Bourne and a London showroom, allowing stocked pods to be delivered quickly without shipping each order from Finland.
Framery has cut UK delivery times to five days after opening a new distribution centre. The Tampere-made soundproof office pod maker launched the Bourne, Lincolnshire hub and a London flagship showroom in May, speeding deliveries and giving customers a place to see products before buying, Tamperelainen reported.
Shipments from Finland could previously take more than four weeks, a lag that proved awkward in fast-moving office markets with short leases and tight move schedules. Stocking finished units in the UK means pods no longer ship individually from Tampere on each order. That reduces customs delays and lowers transport costs by allowing less frequent, larger restocking shipments, the company said. Framery added the centre supports its made-to-order service and growth strategy in Britain. Sales director Lasse Karvinen said, "Our British customers need workspaces quickly."
