Tampere City Hall to host free retirement guidance evening on 21 September
Tampere City Hall will host a free retirement guidance evening on Monday 21 September 2026 from 17:00–19:00, offering information stands, short talks and peer connections for recent and soon-to-be retirees.
A free evening event will offer practical guidance and peer connections for residents who have recently retired or plan to retire within a few years. It takes place at Tampere City Hall (Aleksis Kiven katu 14–16 C) on Monday 21 September 2026 from 17:00 to 19:00.
The relaxed programme features information stands from the city and partner organisations, covering services, culture, wellbeing and financial matters. Short inspirational talks will be given by coach Rauno "Rane" Korvel and journalist and yoga teacher Anne Flinkkilä. The evening ends with a musical performance; a full programme will be published in September.
Admission is free. No advance registration is required. The first 200 attendees will receive a mocktail and a small savory snack. City Hall has an accessible entrance, and the event will follow the city's safer space principles.
The event complements the city's free autumn fitness classes and nearly 100 low-threshold cultural events for older residents planned across Tampere this autumn.
