K-Market Teekkarinkatu in Hervanta reopened after a full makeover on Thursday 22 October, Tamperelainen reports. The roughly 300-square-metre neighbourhood shop was renovated throughout, from walls and lighting to fixtures and refrigeration. Shopkeeper Paula Kiiveri said in a press release she planned the new layout carefully and reviewed customer wishes submitted via social media and email. The remodel adds new shelving and refrigerated units to increase selection without expanding floor space. It introduces a hybrid checkout to speed up morning purchases and installs a dog cart so pets can ride along. Parcel pickup and the one-euro coffee remain. The product range will continue to adapt to customer requests. The reopening follows the store's September closure for a full renovation.
