Konepaja and allied exhibitions return to Tampere in March 2026

Tampereen Messut Oy announced that Konepaja-messut, along with Nordic Welding and 3D Expo, will be held at Tampereen Messu- ja Urheilukeskus on 17–19 March 2026. The three-day event is set to bring together key players in the machine workshop and metal industry, the latest technologies, and decision-makers behind machinery and equipment investments.

The organizer says the show will feature metal industry equipment, devices and solutions ranging from planning across the production chain to finished products. Konepaja will celebrate its 10th anniversary, while Nordic Welding marks its 20th year, and the exhibitions are expected to be larger and more comprehensive than before, with wide coverage of new technology, machines and production solutions. The press release notes that in 2024 the event drew over 6,700 industry professionals and more than 7,000 visitors, and it expects strong interest again this year.

Among the programme highlights, the event will include the Finnish SM welding competitions, the awarding ceremony for the Plootu Fennica 2026 thin-sheet product competition in three categories, and a Finnish Operations Center seminar addressing opportunities to participate in NATO procurement processes. The release adds that a new online platform and event app will support networking by helping attendees and exhibitors browse the programme and venue map, connect with other participants, and manage their schedules and meetings.

Tampereen Messut Oy also announced that accredited media representatives will have free entry to the trade fairs. It states that media cards can be collected from the main hall information desk, and that the press accreditation can be registered online through the event’s press accreditation link provided in the release.
