Line 21 will be diverted via Ryydynpohja on 22 June and all Ryydynkatu stops will be closed; temporary Kukkolankatu 9922 will replace Kukkolankatu 1054.
ePressi reports that Line 21 will be diverted through Ryydynpohja on 22 June, and all Ryydynkatu stops will be closed for the duration.
Kukkolankatu stop 1054 will be closed and replaced by temporary Kukkolankatu 9922, located just after the Lintulamminkatu junction. Nyssen gives walking estimates from affected stops: Ritalankatu (1058/1059) to Ryydynpohja (1071) is about 5 minutes, 350 metres towards Teivaalantie; and Viholankuja and Viholankatu (1056/1057) to Kukkolankatu (1055/9922) is about 5 minutes, 300 metres towards Hiedanranta. Expect a short walk between stops.
During the diversion Line 21 will use Vilhelminkatu (1051) and Teivaalantie 30 (1050). Updated timetables and the diversion schedule are available in Nyssen's route planner, so passengers should check exact departure times there.
Passengers should allow extra time and use the temporary Kukkolankatu 9922 stop where indicated. On-site signage will show the latest stop and timetable information.
The diversion follows a series of route changes this spring, including a May reroute of lines 14 and 29 and an earlier notice of summer service reductions that altered stops and schedules.
