Mariska, Kaseva and Hurriganes tribute headline Kangasala-talo’s autumn 2026 season
Kangasala-talo says its 2026 autumn season is headlined by Mariska's concert on 2 October, with jazz, classical, tribute nights and family shows also scheduled.
Kangasala-talo says the season is headlined by Mariska's concert on Friday 2 October. One of Finland’s most awarded songwriters, she will perform I Sing, I Write, presenting her own material alongside songs made familiar by other artists' interpretations.
International jazz is on the bill too: American Hammond organist Brian Charette appears with Mathias Sandberg and drummer Teppo Mäkynen.
Juha Hostikka and Dallapé bring tradition and nostalgia with a repertoire of evergreen melodies. Classical audiences get a piano programme titled Pictures at an Exhibition, featuring works by Ravel, Debussy and Mussorgsky.
Rock and rhythm fans will find themed evenings and tribute shows. By popular demand The Black Devils – Hurriganes Show returns, and the season includes concerts focusing on Dire Straits, Neil Young and other classic rock material, alongside Finnish names such as Heikki Hela, Mikko Alatalo and Kaseva.
Theatre and family offerings round out the schedule. The play All My Mothers, All My Daughters has been moved from spring to autumn, and a warm-hearted family staging of The Miser’s Christmas is set for the holiday season. Family concerts include Magic of Cartoons in October and, in August, TubeTrio featuring JuhoFlow, Satusetä and Tiia Weckström. Kangasala High School has collaborated on Water, a multidisciplinary work combining dance, video art, live painting and music.
