Tampere Workers' Theatre fills November with 19 TTT-Club shows

Nineteen events are lined up at the TTT-Club restaurant stage in November, with three performances already sold out and six nearly full. The calendar mixes comedy, stand-up, music and the theatre's Nordic Noir dark comedy, and follows Johanna Tohn's October midlife stand-up run. The month also coincides with the opening of a new 60-seat lounge stage at the former Kulttuuriravintola Kivi earlier this autumn.

Two productions centre on life at fifty. Johanna Tohn's stand-up show Fifty's Frenzy, which began in October to full houses, continues into November, while Kaisa Hela and Heidi Kiviharju's Age Vision – Half-Century Party is scheduled for 13 and 14 November and has attracted strong early ticket sales.

Stand-up highlights include Iikka Kivi's Protest Laugh on 5–6 November and Holy Trinity, a trio show with Roosa Maskonen, Saana Peltola and Anitta Ahonen, on 12 November. The latter bills itself as "a three-woman Bermuda triangle charging the stage with estrogen overload, girl power, female revenge and girls' talk." The long-running favourite Caveman returns on 7 and 26 November.

Music nights span blues, jazz, rock and Nordic folk. Blues legends Dave Lindholm and Pepe Ahlqvist, a nearly sold-out double bill, perform on 7 November. The Miracle, a Queen tribute, marks Freddie Mercury's 80th with a show on 13 November; internationally acclaimed folk ensemble Frigg plays on 14 November; and Masa Orpana leads Honk with New Orleans-tinged jazz on 27 November. Other billed acts include Just in Time featuring Heikki Hela on 20 November.
