Morning collision on Ysitie closes Jyväskylä-bound lane between Ristinarkku and Alasjärvi

A vehicle collision on Ysitie in Tampere on Wednesday morning has closed a lane and is causing delays toward Jyväskylä. Fintraffic's Tampere road traffic centre reported the crash occurred between the Ristinarkku and Alasjärvi junctions. The Pirkanmaa Rescue Department says first responders are on scene and the affected lane remains closed while authorities manage the incident. The stretch has seen similar incidents before. In March a crane fell from a flatbed, closing the Jyväskylä-bound lane of the Karkunvuoren tunnel and blocking traffic for hours, and a separate guardrail collision recently slowed traffic on Ysitie near Tampere. Aamulehti reported the latest crash.
