A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car on Pyhäjärventie in Tampere on Wednesday at 3:50 p.m. The crash happened at the entrance to the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre.
Rescue services said emergency medical personnel took the rider to hospital for checks, and crews are directing traffic at the scene, causing delays for drivers heading toward Jyväskylä. Traffic was disrupted for some time.
There have been previous collisions in the area. A morning rear-end crash near the fair centre briefly snarled traffic on Pyhäjärventie. Tamperelainen reported.
