Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Solo Crash at Teiskontie and Heikkilänkatu, Tampere

The crash happened on August 22 at the intersection of Teiskontie and Heikkilänkatu in Tampere. Pirkanmaa Rescue Department duty fire chief Joni Evikoski said the rider lost control and fell. No other vehicles were involved. The injured motorcyclist was taken to TAYS emergency department, Acuta, for treatment. Rescue crews secured the scene, allowing paramedics to work. One lane toward Kangasala was closed for about half an hour, but the rescue department said the incident did not cause significant traffic disruption. Aamulehti reported.
