Nysse two‑zone single‑trip fares will rise by an average of 6–8% after the Tampere regional public transport committee approved the change on 28 October 2026.

Nysse's two-zone single-trip fares will rise by an average of 6–8 percent after the Tampere regional public transport committee approved the change at its 28 October 2026 meeting. Children, youth and senior fares will increase roughly 7–8 percent. Event tickets will cost 15 cents more. Other ticket products remain unchanged.

The City of Tampere said the measure is expected to increase ticket revenue by about €3.4 million, with income projected to grow as passenger numbers rise and fares are adjusted.

Single tickets can still be bought with a travel card (value ticket), by contactless payment, via the Nysse Mobiili app or in advance at certain resale points.

The change follows the city's proposal earlier this month and aligns with regional plans put forward in September to increase fares to boost revenue during the 2027 budget process.
