Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa has bought a plot at Aakkulantie 66 in Kangasala to build a new S-market that will replace the current store, Tamperelainen reported.
The site sits in the Pikkola area between Aakkulantie and Lahdentien. Planning is at an early stage, so no detailed designs or timetable have been set. Sami Laine, head of the S-market chain at Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa, said in a press release that Kangasala has grown strongly in recent years and the new store is intended to meet rising demand and improve services for customer-owners.
