Trains between Tampere and Pori were halted after damage to an overhead electric line between Vammala and Kokemäki, Aamulehti reports. Fintraffic says traffic on the Vammala–Kokemäki section is suspended and has not given an estimate for how long repairs will take. VR is serving the Kokemäki–Vammala connection with replacement buses and warns that journeys take longer than the cancelled trains. Similar overhead-line faults have previously disrupted Tampere-area services, with traffic restored after earlier suspensions in May.
