Calls to the company’s numbers were not answered on Thursday afternoon, and Aamulehti has not reached the chain’s entrepreneur for comment.
Aamulehti notes that readers contacting the paper expressed surprise at the sudden closure. The paper adds that P&T’s results have been negative in recent years, with losses of about half a million euros in both 2023 and 2024. It also mentions that inquiries by the paper have not elicited a response from the company, underscoring the lack of immediate comment from the owner.
