Visit Tampere and Tamperelainen are running a public poll to name the Pirkanmaa tourist attraction judged to have offered the best service this year. Voting is open until Wednesday 21 October.
The current top ten, listed alphabetically, includes Hatanpää Arboretum, the Finlayson area, Hiedanranta, Laukon Manor in Vesilahti, Vapriikki Museum Centre, the Niemi‑Kape smoke sauna, Suttinen Farm in Pälkäne, Tallipiha, Tampere Market Hall and the Vehoniemi Automobile Museum in Kangasala. Ten attractions made the cut.
The Visit Tampere Award for a Tampere region tourism operator has been given since 2018. This year's prize will mark the tenth. The winner is chosen by Visit Tampere's board, and awards are presented at the Visit Festival in Nekala on Tuesday 24 November.
Two €50 gift cards will be raffled among voters. Past public-vote winners include the Pyynikki Observation Tower (2023 and 2025) and Tallipiha (2024).
The public vote was first announced earlier this month, with an original deadline of 11 October in an earlier call for votes.
