Reitan’s Ärrä to Open at Tampere Railway Station on 30 October

Reitan Convenience Finland will open an Ärrä concept store at Tampere railway station on 30 October, part of a plan to launch about 30 new Ärrä outlets by the end of the year, Tamperelainen reported.

The Tampere shop will use the Sanomatalo format, aimed at busy urban customers. It offers an expanded food and drink selection with more homemade and healthier options, cutting back on red-meat items and adding more vegetarian and vegan choices. Familiar items such as sliders, lunch sandwiches and hot dogs will remain on the menu.

New drinks arriving at the store include Cleanin Mono creatine water and Brite’s natural-caffeine, additive-free energy drink. CEO Niklas Lilius says the chain is targeting high-traffic sites where demand for quick snacks is strong, and that each Ärrä will tailor its assortment to local customers.

Details on November and December openings will be announced later. The opening is part of a busy autumn for new food and retail openings in Tampere and follows Fiksuruoka's planned Ratina opening next month.
