Send Your Best Tampere Selfie and Win Movie Tickets

Aamulehti is asking readers to submit their favourite selfies taken around Tampere by Tuesday 29 September for a chance to win movie tickets.

A similar readers' photo contest ran in June, inviting Midsummer grill photos.

Influencer Mandimai Sundberg says the best Tampere selfies capture feeling as much as place. "The place doesn't need to be super visible, it can be a small glimpse in the background," she says, referring to a photo taken at Santalahti waterfront park. She names Särkänniemi and Näsinneula as favourite backdrops. Santalahti earns praise for golden-hour sunsets, night lights, easy spots for walks, café visits at Uittotunneli and informal games with friends.

To enter, email your picture to [email protected] with your name, hometown and a short description of the photo and why the Tampere view matters to you. Aamulehti will publish all submissions that include the required information; by sending a photo you grant permission for publication and should secure consent from any other people pictured.
