A photography exhibition showcasing residents' favourite places from Multisilta and Peltolammi opened at Tampere City Hall on 16 September and will run until 17 October. The Favourite Place exhibition features portraits by Susanna Lyly alongside texts and memories collected by Hilkka Hyttinen.

The work grew from the Spirit of Place and Favourite Place community arts project. The two artists invited locals to choose scenes that matter to them, be photographed there and tell the stories tied to those spots.

The display appears in Tampere City Hall's street-level windows at Aleksis Kivi Street 14–16. It can be seen around the clock, with indoor access during City Hall opening hours.

Peltolammi and Multisilta were part of Finland's Suburban Development Programme 2020–2022. They are now included in the Tampere Neighbourhood Development Programme 2026–2029. The city's Public Cultural Services supports the neighbourhood work through community arts activities.

The exhibition is part of a wave of neighbourhood-led community art projects across Tampere this autumn that pair artists with local residents to co-create shows. Shown in the City Hall's street-level windows, the photos complement the building's recent reopening and the tours planned for Tampere Day following the renovation opening.
