Sliki Showers Blockfest Crowd at Ratina with €3,000 in Fivers
Rapper Sliki tossed €3,000 in five-euro notes into the crowd at Blockfest in Ratina, showering festivalgoers with cash.
Rapper Sliki tossed €3,000 in five-euro notes into the crowd during his set at Tampere's Blockfest, leaving festivalgoers showered in cash, Tamperelainen reports.
Video from the stage shows Sliki announcing, 'I've got a little surprise for you,' before pulling bundles of fivers from a shoulder bag and letting them flutter into the audience. It was brief, but spectacular.
On Instagram he wrote, 'three grand flew to the audience in five-euro notes, as thanks for how much you've supported me.' His production company, Big Money Entertainment, said the stunt was part of the Blockfest show.
Organisers said the festival drew about 70,000 visitors over the weekend. This year, official afterparties were held across several Tampere nightclubs rather than at Nokia Arena, and Blockfest performances are available to watch on Yle Areena.
The stunt took place at the sold-out Blockfest at Ratina Stadium, part of a busy festival weekend in the city our earlier coverage noted.
