Ståhlberg to open restaurants in Tulli and Linnainmaa, bringing Tampere total to 12

Tamperelainen reports that Ståhlberg, the 71-year-old lunch and café chain founded in Lempäälä, is opening two new outlets in Tampere. One will open in the Tulli area at the end of August, the paper says. The other is being built in Linnainmaa, near the K-Citymarket Auto Center Areena, an area with relatively few lunch options. Contractor Meijou Oy has posted a notice on the building's door estimating renovations will be completed in October, the paper says.

Within Tampere the chain currently runs ten lunch restaurants: Kolmenkulma, Keskustori, Lielahti, Näsilinnankatu, Tampella and Viinikka. It also has locations in Lempäälä’s Ideapark, Pirkkala’s Veska, Jasperintie and Urjala’s Pentinkulma. The two planned openings will bring the chain's total to twelve.

The expansion follows recent moves including appointing a new CEO and opening the tenth Tampere location earlier this year the company's recent expansion and leadership change.
