Tampere board recommends €4.7m sale of Ratinanranta plot, freeing 4,400 m² for housing

Signed in late September, a conditional purchase agreement could free about 4,400 square metres of building rights for new housing by releasing an 885-square-metre plot in Ratinanranta, Tamperelainen reports. The sale would transfer the plot and part of an adjacent lot to As Oy Tampereen Ratinanrannan Kajo for €4,700,001. It includes a share of a communal block area for residents and a small transformer building on the plot. The site had been reserved for a company formed by Skanska after a competitive tender in which Skanska submitted the highest bid. If the city board backs the proposal, the city council will make the final decision.
