Tampere Day returns 1–4 October, event sign‑ups close 28 September

According to the City of Tampere, Tampere Day will be celebrated from 1–4 October. The city is inviting businesses, associations, organisations and groups to submit events for the citywide weekend programme by noon on 28 September.

The programme includes open-house events across the city, including public tours of the renovated City Hall scheduled for 3 October.

Support services for residents and newcomers include a Relocation Guide, grants for associations and businesses, and International House Tampere, which serves as a single service point for living and working advice. Staff there offer multilingual guidance in more than ten languages to help with paperwork, appointments and job connections.

Organisers and visitors should note the city centre is undergoing continuous development; a dedicated page lists construction sites affecting traffic.
